Education: B.S. Secondary English Education; M.S. Administration and Supervision and Curriculum Instruction; STEM Certificate
Biography: After graduating from Duquesne University in 2007, I began my teaching career in the city of Pittsburgh working with 8th-12th grade students. In 2010, I joined the Hempfield Area High School team teaching various grade levels. Currently, I instruct 11th grade Honors American Literature and 12th grade College Writing, both of which are dual enrollment courses. In addition, I act as one of The Royal advisors, assisting journalism students as they publish the school paper. I am also our National English Honor Society, Alpha Omega, and Mini-THON advisor. Lastly, I am the district's STEM Literacy Coordinator, co-teaching our STEM Communications 12th grade course. I love being involved in our Hempfield Area community, especially with student organizations, and with my own kids who will someday be Spartans!
