Education: B.S. Secondary English Education; M.S. Administration and Supervision and Curriculum Instruction; STEM Certificate
Biography: After graduating from Duquesne University in 2007, I began my teaching career in the city of Pittsburgh working with 8th-12th grade students. In 2010, I joined the Hempfield Area High School team teaching various grade levels. Currently, I instruct 12th grade College Writing, a dual enrollment course. In addition, I act as The Royal advisor, assisting journalism students as they publish the school paper. I also oversee National English Honor Society, Alpha Omega, and act as the Mini-THON advisor. Lastly, I assist with our STEM Literacy Initiative helping to provide opportunities for students to obtain real world experiences while still in high school. I love being involved in our Hempfield Area community, especially with student organizations, and with my own kids who will someday be Spartans!
